I’ve only just realized I haven’t posted about seeing You Me At Six twice this week! Both gigs were fantastic. Even when Josh’s voice was going on the second night he gave it his all. I also got to meet them on Tuesday and they were lovely as always. I asked Josh if his tattoo hurt and he said no then did a little finger dance for me. I finally got my Sinners postcards signed too (since I wasn’t allowed to at their last signing thanks to mean security guards). All in all one of the best tours they’ve ever done!

You Me At Six have confirmed plans to release a new track later this month.
The band have recorded a song titled ‘The Swarm’, which will be used as the official soundtrack for Thorpe Park’s latest ride of the same nameSpeaking to NME about the ride and track, guitarist Max Heyler explained: “It’s basically about the end of the world and the ride is full of near-misses and loads of near-hits.
“It’s Europe’s tallest winged rollercoaster in the world and Thorpe Park told us it was going to be very scary, so we decided we’d rock it up a little bit more, make it a bit more heavier and a bit hairier.
“It’s a bit like ‘Bite My Tongue’, but without screaming. It’s a massive epic rock song; it’s definitely got aggression, and it’s definitely got edge.”
Heyler also revealed that they recorded the track with Foo Fighters producer Gil Norton in Bath before their upcoming UK tour, which starts in Belfast on March 14.
